They offer counseling, therapy, and support groups tailored to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. Additionally, they provide educational programs and professional training focused on prevention and bystander intervention to reduce violence and support safe communities.
For many women and survivors of abuse, feeling safe in public spaces isn’t something they can take for granted, it can affect whether they attend events, how they move through a crowd, and whether they’re able to fully enjoy the experience. Creating safer show environments is a shared responsibility. It’s not just up to security, venue management, or event organizers. Every person in the audience has a role to play. When we look out for one another, check in when someone seems uncomfortable, respect boundaries, and speak up when we witness harmful behavior, we help create a culture where everyone can feel protected! Keep that up at every gathering!
