Good People General Store

Good People General Store I sell vintage items and much more! Who are Good People? Our candles are made from 100% natural soy, throw a fine fragrance, and offer a very long burn time.

Good People Candles are inspired by the “Good People” series of paintings by Katrina Estes-Hill, also known as “Mizippihippi”. Well, Good People are ordinary folks like you and me who make up the fabric of the American, mostly Southern, culture. Many of us go unnoticed, but all of us have a story to tell, and Good People candles have a wee bit of that story right smack dab on the label. They are p

oured and packaged with love in Louisville, MS. Katrina was born and raised there in Winston County, and much of the inspiration for her paintings came from home. Ordinary folks inspire the characters on the labels and the characters on the labels inspire the unique scent of the candles. The little anecdote on the label will enlighten you on how the character inspired the fragrance. We offer a growing list of uniquely fun fragrances that’ll make you feel all warm and fuzzy when you burn them. Among them are:

Faye Swain’s Fresh Brewed Coffee
