Tiny Bradshaw who many of you know has worked with our unsheltered neighbors. The community had a devastating house fire on August 11th. She needs our help. Please give if you can. If you cannot, would you please share. I know that the fundraising amount has been met, but they will surely need more.

I just wanted to let people know that we're set for the next Love Street shop on October 10th of this year. We will be at the Church of the promise again in Portland. I hope as the weather turns a little cooler and we start pulling out our fall and winter clothes that we will set aside what no longer serves us for our unsheltered neighbors.
If you would like to volunteer, please let me know. We can always use volunteers.
I'm looking forward to the fall season of loving our neighbors.

What an incredible day for the Love Street Shop.
Thank you to everyone who donated items, volunteered time, shared posts and helped make our bi-annual outreach event such a success.
Because of this amazing community, we were able to provide hot meals, toiletries, haircuts, massage therapy, and support services to so many people in need.
A special thank you to the volunteers from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry ,Galen School of Nursing, Church of the Promise, Louisville Outreach for the Unsheltered, Shirley's Way and all of the incredible volunteers who showed up to serve.
We were truly humbled by both the generosity of our community and the turnout from those who came seeking help. Thank you for making a difference ❤️

Today's the day we're here at Church of the promise. 1801 Portland Avenue behind the table restaurant. If you want to drop off, we're accepting donations from 8:00 to 11:00. Enter on the 18th Street side. There are balloons and traffic cones out there. Hope to see you soon.
