What can I say? I've been down and out for a while. Been trying to keep up with the hustle and bustle but trying to "be something" in the crochet world means more time than I'm honestly willing to commit to it. So to be able to bring you more content (hopefully) I'm adding my yarn repertoire to include some punch needle (as pictured) and latch hook.

Crafting has helped me so much when it comes to my anxiety and depression and being able to share my work with you all has meant so much. Expanding into other yarn crafts now helps me bond with my daughter in a way I never thought imaginable. We've been working at the table all morning long on our new project and I just wanted to be able to share it with you. This is my first punch needle project. I know there are errors and for the first time I'm giving myself some grace and letting it happen and enjoying the time I'm able to have with my family.

Creating Eyevan was something I wanted to do for a long time. I would imagine what I wanted this monster to look like during my breaks at work. I'd come home and bounce ideas off of my wife and one day I just sat down and started crocheting it. I'm really happy to have had the support from you all. The naming competition was so much fun and I really felt engaged with all of you. I really hope, if you purchase Eyevan, that you enjoy making him as much as I do.
