We’re excited to introduce the Coalition for
Outdoor Equity Fund NM, a statewide alliance
working to secure sustainable public funding for
New Mexico’s Outdoor Equity Fund.

The Outdoor Equity Fund has been an essential funding source to amplify our educational programs and mission and we are proud to support the Coalition!

Together, we’re ensuring every young person in
New Mexico can access meaningful outdoor
experiences — today and for generations to come!

Since 2019, the Outdoor Equity Fund has connected
over 100,000 New Mexico youth to the outdoors —
many for the very first time. But demand continues to outpace funding.

Outdoor recreation contributes to New Mexico’s economy and supports jobs statewide. Investing in youth outdoors isn’t just about access — it’s about workforce development, community health, and economic vitality!

That’s why sustainable funding for the Outdoor
Equity Fund matters.

For over 40 years, PLIA has been dedicated to providing public lands education and inspiring a connection to the natural world.

We LOVE public lands, and we are devoted to helping you enjoy them safely and responsibly. When you invest in us, you support our programs that help make public lands more accessible to those that normally wouldn't have the opportunity to take advantage of them.

For this giving Tuesday, please consider donating to help support our mission.
