Emerald (2005), basado en las aventuras del juego Pokémon Emerald, es la 9na expansión de EX Series y nunca tuvo su equivalente Japonés.

Para esta época las cartas Holográficas Inversas presentan una estampa del set y con hologramas especiales de distintos patrones. En este caso de Pokebolas flotando y el nombre y HP de la carta en dorado.

Este Rayquaza en su variante Holo Inversa es la cara bonita de la expansión.

Crystal Guardians (2006) fue el SET número 14 del juego y nos continuó deleitando con sus maravillosas Delta Species, EX y Star.

Rumores dicen que esta temática de Delta Species, que son Pokémon provenientes de una isla en la cual contacto con unos cristales les genera mutación en sus tipos, fue la inspiración al fenómeno de Terracristalizacion en la última entrega de Pokémon Scarlet Violet.

Base Set 2 (2000) fue una edición que nunca existió en Japón y salió como una re-edición del emblemático Base Set + Jungle + Fossil, ya que para cuando el juego llegó a occidente ya estaban muy pegados los sets de GYM y Neo y muchos fans habían llegado "tarde" para conseguir o disfrutar de los primeros.

En esta expansión se abandona el holograma "galaxia estrellada" para adoptar el holograma de tipo "cosmos", uno de los más deseados hasta el día de hoy.

No cabe duda alguna que Charizard nuevamente fue la carta más buscada de la expansión y aquí tenemos un ejemplar a la venta:

Base Set 2 (2000) was an edition that never existed in Japan and came out as a re-edition of the emblematic Base Set + Jungle + Fossil, since by the time the game reached the West the GYM and Neo sets were already very close and many fans had been "late" to get or enjoy the first ones.

In this expansion, the "starry galaxy" holo is abandoned to adopt the "cosmos" type holo, one of the most desired to date.

Fossil (1999), la tercera entrega del emblemático Base Set, es la expansión que termina de cerrar la Pokedex de Kanto, trayendo Pokémon extintos y legendarios.
