Calling all coin experts and hobbyists: I just found this strange penny while going through a batch of old coins. I think the date says 1978-D but it could be 1976-D. Is this a very cool error penny, or was it somehow destroyed after it went into circulation? I’d love to hear your expert opinions & thoughts... I honestly have NO IDEA!!!

I’ve seen similar ones, but I have not seen one exactly like this. Something is engraved on the back, but it’s covered by the price tag. This is listed for sale on the ThriftyChickLA store. RARE ERROR BEAR just listed on eBay! (EBAY STORE LINK IN BIO.) This “Golden Dollar Bear” is part of the “Limited Treasures Coin Bear” series. This one is named “Sacagawea & Pomp” and is supposed to feature a 2000 Sacagawea dollar coin in its belly. But it erroneously has a 1979-D Susan B. Anthony dollar coin in its belly instead. WEIRD RIGHT???
I’ve tried to research this, and so far I was only able to find one other with the wrong coin (not sure what year) - it sold several years ago. I wonder how many of these were made? It’s definitely a cool mistake.

Pictured here is a Sylvester the Cat Pump Cap - These were used to keep soda drinks fizzy. A miniature picture frame by Figi Graphics, featuring Sylvester, that says “one cool cat.” A Sylvester teapot kettle. A Hallmark notepad featuring Sylvester and Tweety Bird. And an official MLB mini figure featuring Sylvester as a St. Louis Cardinals baseball player, made by Applause.

Just listed on ! (EBAY STORE LINK IN BIO.) This vintage Los Angeles Lakers jacket is made by Colosseum Athletics. It’s very rare and hard to find! It’s a great collectors item for any LA Lakers fan. This was a thrifting find, so I don’t know exactly when it was made, but I assume it’s from when Kobe Bryant was on the team. The jacket is really cool because it’s reversible. It’s very good quality as well. I have a lot more photos and information on my eBay page. (EBAY STORE LINK IN BIO.) This one will probably sell fast so check it out quick. ❤️🏀
