Jupiter goes direct today! 🌌✨

Jupiter, part of my Planetary Series, is a 12 × 16 letterpress print created in 26 passes on my SP20 Vandercook. The piece draws inspiration from NASA imagery and vintage science books from the 1950s–60s.

Printed using red, orange, brown, gray, and black soy-based inks on 100% cotton Cranes Lettra paper. The print also includes a scale showing the planets’ relative sizes in our solar system.

🌌 Planetary Resonance — Opening Recap + Upcoming NASA/JPL Event

I’m excited to share that my new exhibition, Planetary Resonance, is now on view at Art in the Park from November 15, 2025 through January 10, 2026. The opening was truly wonderful! Thank you to everyone who came out in the rain to celebrate with me. I loved the conversations, the energy, and seeing people connect with the work.

This exhibition brings together my letterpress planetary series with NASA’s recorded planetary sounds, exploring resonance: the rhythms, interactions, and harmonies between planets, moons, and orbits, translated into both visual and sound-based pieces. (The last photo is Jupiter's moon Europa)

A huge thank you to Art in the Park, the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, and especially Liz Goetz, Director of AITP, for all the support, photos, and video.

UPCOMING EVENT at Art in the Park

Stefano will be giving an accessible, fascinating talk about NASA’s Europa Clipper Mission: An ambitious journey to investigate Jupiter’s icy moon and its subsurface ocean. It’s a perfect companion to the exhibition.

Hope to see you there, and thank you again for supporting Planetary Resonance.

🌙 Thank you to everyone who came out to Lunar Rhythms: From Soil to Sky!

It was an honor to join Gloria Galvez ( ) and Lucia Fabio () for a one-hour conversation exploring the moon’s influence—from the soil to the sky. We talked about lunar cycles and their impact on planting, nocturnal wildlife, and how these rhythms shape our creative and natural lives.

I also loved sharing how my moon print became the starting point for my eight-year Planetary Resonance series, connecting cosmic patterns with life here on Earth.

The photos include our table filled with moon-related books, objects, and materials connected to the themes of the panel — a little constellation of ideas and inspirations.

A heartfelt thank you to Liz Goetz, director of Art in the Park, for supporting and hosting this event.
And thank YOU all for showing up, supporting the work, and being part of this moment. ✨

✨ Opening November 15, 2025 | 2–5 PM ✨

Join me at Art in the Park (Los Angeles) for the opening of Planetary Resonance — an immersive exhibition combining my Planetary Series of 10 letterpress prints (created over 8 years) with a sound + video installation inspired by NASA sonifications and Hans Cousto’s Cosmic Octave.

Each print acts as a “page” in a contemporary codex, revealing the rhythm, beauty, and interconnectedness of our solar system — all hand-printed on my Vandercook SP20 press and accompanied by planetary sounds translated from orbital frequencies into an audible dimension.
