Go Skate Day is coming up this Saturday, June 21st! For the 3rd year in a row weโre creating a unique space for women and genderq***r skaters in LA to celebrate together. No competition, just a place to vibe out and make new friends. All ages, skill levels, families, genders, wheel types, and onlookers welcome.
Come to Pecan park between 2-6pm for an open skate session with your favorite skaters. Stack some clips at this classic LA skate spot. Share your go skate day edit with to automatically enter into our Go Skate Day giveaway. The best edit (from anywhere in the country) will receive a sponsor box from Forbidden Fruit Skateboards! ๐ we want you to get outside, skate, film, and make memories.
Join us for an afterparty 6pm-9pm at , an incredible woman-owned space in the heart of Little Tokyo. With a special pop up by taking us back to 90โs era skate shops with a twist. Paying homage to a time when you could have a place to unwind, play games, and watch skate videos on vhs all day. This time reimagined, centering video parts from the women and q***r skaters of our time.

This venue was hit particularly hard by the curfew last week, so letโs all show some love to our DTLA small businesses this Saturday. Check out the vibes, have a drink, and meet your community in real life. Weโre out here and we love you.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Forbidden Fruit. To be able to host this event 3 years in a row and get much needed resources into our often overlooked community is such a blessing. It hasnโt been easy to sustain, but it is a privilege to be able to invest in you all and see our collective progression skyrocket. Whether you know it or not, weโre in the middle of a historic movement. Iโm so proud to be a part of it with all of you. Canโt wait to share our Go Skate Day with you again. ๐
