Morning Orders 💜

It’s been awhile since a post, but if you watched my stories yesterday, I worked on a quick thrift flip. It’s been very fun to work on those kind of projects and to see a little more. Especially since I now have a craft room in the house I recently moved into, hence the lovely desk setup that I absolutely love.

When I made my Jack doll all the way back in 2016, I really never expected to make so many for so many different people. He was simply an idea in my head because there wasn’t a lot of designs of him anywhere. The Nightmare Before Christmas is not the most popular movie out there, and only so many people know who Jack Skellington is. But enough people do and they are the ones that made Aurora & Jack what it is today! Jack was the jumpstart to my Etsy shop and still is the forerunner in sales (maybe besides stickers 🤪) and I couldn’t be more grateful for all you NBC fans out there!

A super quick, very fun project I did over the weekend, Mirabel inspired crochet Minnie ears! I absolutely loved Encanto, and have watched it many times, and I haven’t seen any fun designs inspired by the movie or by Mirabel, who I relate to in many ways. So I decided to create my own pair for a Disney trip yesterday! Considering it was experimental, they stayed together pretty well, and were only a little bit slippery on my head. A challenge that I enjoyed taking on!

Redlands, CA • a city both cozy and lively. Shops line downtown and the beloved State street, homes of all kinds and sizes, and people just as varied. The place I currently call home with my husband, and the place I drive home, seeing this very sunset on my later work days.
Whether you live here or not, this sunset is inspiring, and can be just as beautiful as the day I witnessed it’s inspiration.

Once I got my Modern Crochet Sweaters book, I couldn’t stop picking it up just to flip through it. It would sit on the couch and I’d side eye it until I eventually just grabbed it again to look through all the beautiful pictures and get to know the patterns. Almost immediately, I knew I wanted to make the and I bought the yarn right after I received the book. I’ve only cast on the gauge swatch, but I can’t wait to start creating the sweater! Especially in this gorgeous green 🤍🤍

Recently got a new photo set up (just some pieces of white pinboards and fabric 😅) and I think the results are more professional then I’ve done before! I haven’t had a lot of time to mess with it, but I can’t wait to take more pictures with it. But for now, enjoy this picture of pumpkin head 😁

🍄🍄🍄 How fun and cute are these watercolor mushroom stickers 😆 I am slowly expanding the mini sticker collection and this is one of the new additions, a simple and cute red mushroom. Approximately 1”x1”, how can you not love it?

When I say I loved making these, I really mean it 😆 these little bears are so soft and cuddly and easy, not to mention therapeutic to create. I made these to sell at and I noticed they went over pretty darn well. So I will be creating more! I’m also wanting to do other animals, like the koala in the bottom corner of this picture. I’m thinking some cats and maybe a fox?

Little zero appreciation today, since this keychain has been getting lots of love on Etsy recently!
I’ve been working on some new things, always getting ideas for stuff, and I might start working on a larger zero plush, one that’s more teddy bear size and fluffy, I think that’s be adorable 😍 we’ll see how it goes 💜
