Pixel isn't feeling well so she's being offered everything under the sun as a dining option. She drank some eggy water from the scrambled eggs and eventually ate some instant ramen noodles and cooked vegetables. Hopefully tomorrow her appetite improves. 🤕

Featured entrees - scrambled egg, balanced remedy, tofu/quinoa and skin & joint meals plus cooked aafco veggies in broth. Maruchan noodles and nutrical was the final decision. Cross your paws she's got more of an appetite tomorrow.

On New Year's Eve 2013, I collected a tiny, broken Chihuahua from the shelter and named him Ender. He formed "Tiny Team Alpha" with Smidge (rip) and they played every day, for hours, until he was adopted by the best ever mom and moved to BC (eventually joined by another LA chi called Valentine).

He camped. He went to the beach. He hiked thousands of kilometers. With arthritis. Cataracts. Wonky joints, IBD and eventually kidney disease. He THRIVED with Melissa (and Valentine.) The most enriched and loved. ❤️

But like all friendships we have with dogs, they eventually take their leave, when their body fails them, and they need to re-up into a stronger version on the other side of the rainbow bridge. 🌈

Today Ender stepped out of his old, painful body and is now running free. I'm sure Smidge is there to welcome him back to Tiny Team. 🐾

I love you forever Ender. 💚 My eternal gratitude to Melissa for being his everything and loving him until the very end. 💚

I am so sorry for Melissa and Valentine today. 💔 Devastating is a understatement. 💔 I hope you can all send thoughts on courage and peace her way.

Chan gets very hype to go to the park but he only knows how to express emotions with growling and biting. Happy, mad, hungry, tired, it's all the same. He was very excited to go.

Pixel wouldn't stop fighting with Hexadecimal in the sling so I put her in the backseat for the 5-minute drive back from the park. She spent the entire drive whining like this. Absolute torture!
