Sika is my birthright—a 32-year legacy in Leimert Park and a cultural cornerstone for our community. My father entrusted me with this business in 2016, and I held his hand until his last breath. Just weeks after his passing, we were served a 30-day notice to vacate, despite never missing a rent payment or being afforded a conversation about moving. As a single mother and entrepreneur, I’m now fighting to preserve what he built.

We want to extend a heartfelt thanks to the BOOCLT (Black-Owned and Operated Community Land Trust) for making this transition possible and providing us with a space where we can keep our legacy alive.

Your support will help us rebuild and build out our new space across the street, train new jewelers, launch a new jewelry line, and continue serving as a safe space for our community. I’m deeply grateful for your support—no amount is too small to help keep this legacy alive.
