Happy Trans Day of Visibility! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️💜💜💜 Our little family owns and operates our own synth shop in LA, and it’s been a lovely start to our journey! It is owned and run by Erin, our daughter Melody Nightingale Wednesday, and me, Cami (they / them).

Let’s all take a moment to remember that we all have the power to show courtesy, compassion, and kindness to anyone we meet on The Path, and in so doing, we can make the world a better place for ourselves and those around us. Every story is different… and when we listen actively, we can learn something that helps us all grow together as a society that believes in progress for all. It could be a well-thought out plan to help a group of people, a spontaneous act of kindness for someone we chance to meet, or a simple smile given to a passerby, every positive action has the potential to give life to happiness in someone else. The chain reaction is one of growth and peace—the growth and peace we all need to continue doing what is good and right… to do good and do it well.

Thanks to for taking home the JX-3P by that we modded with the help of our dear friend Kevin Flynn. We’ve recently started curating specific at as we restore, clean, and improve upon the functionality of certain classics when possible. Our vintage collection is very limited since we are searching for that are in great condition already, and need only some additional care to bring them up to the next level. We prefer to take our time and only offer the best.

This JX-3P, along with its PG-200 controller, found a new home where it is sure to become a part of some truly lovely music.

No one can know that I can write, so I will type my messages to those who will receive my new instrument.”

Tonight, downtown is brighter than usual. Another grantsweep is underway, so the Authority turns every light on—street lamps, building lights, even the lights in every home and room—casting a white shadow in every space. My apartment is old, and my “screen” has a blind spot, so with my headphones on and the sound of my post-war “Soviet”-style drum machine that I am making for EG, I drown out the hum and chop of rotary wing aircraft above my building, and the corner next to my broken armoire gives me some much-needed space to test the kick and the bass. 1984/9/29

… then, music felt… generic. Every sound I hear sounds the same. It’s as if after the clock struck 13, I finally noticed that there was an erased and forgotten past. What if there’s an instrument that plays the deleted past? If it plays sounds I also know… no screen, newmusik. New music. Forgotten and deleted ideas. 1984/9/26

Our first Roland JUNO-106 has been acquired by an Artist on the East Coast. It is the first synth we sell as part of The Vintage Collection. We want to thank and congratulate the Artist on adopting a vintage classic that we finished restoring a couple of weeks ago. New voice cards, new faders and potentiometers, reflowing of PSU were all done prior. Then we replaced switches and did a thorough cleaning of the inside, outside, and the keys themselves. Vintage Roland is classic for a reason, and the 106 remains a mainstay in many studios because of its special tone.
