Join us for FREE movie night tomorrow, Weds June 10th. We will be watching the cult classic “But I’m a Cheerleader” directed by Jamie Babbit!

We will be open later for the movie, serving from the Cafe before, during intermission & after the film. Stick around for a discussion afterwards! Movie starts at 7:30.

Happy Saturday!

If ya haven’t heard, Solidarity Urban Farms + Electric Baking co. are going to be set up outside this morning. Our little farmers market starts at 10am. Solidarity is going to be here every Saturday during the summer, with a mix of other vendors… maybe even some food trucks eventually.

We have another show this evening, at the Lorain Cinematheque. Hypnotic synths & droney heavy music tonight!

halicon, Taiga, Magma Diver & Holographic Throne. doors are at 6:30 and music starts around 7. $10-$15 recommended donation to help pay the artists. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Happy Thursday. Whatcha reading lately? We’ll be digging into this new book by soon, “I Hear Freedom”. Cover art painted by friend and local multi-disciplined artist , of Cleveland born free jazz pioneer Albert Ayler.

We also have a show tonight at the shop. Indie folk / singer songwriter acts. Harboursome had to drop so we’ll be getting a full solo set by . $10-$15 is recommended to help pay the artists, especially the ones on tour. No one ever turned away for lack of funds.

Music starts @ 7:30, shop will be open all day till then, cafe open between performances!

NEXT MONDAY, June 8th, we will be open for a few hours to celebrate the fact that Big Boy no. 4014 is stopping right around the block from us!

“Big Boy No. 4014 is the world’s largest operating steam locomotive. Of the eight remaining Big Boys in existence today, No. 4014 is the only one still in operation.“ - Union Pacific Website.

The Big Boy is scheduled to stop at 11:15. We will be open from 10am-1pm that day. Come grab a snack and drink and hang out while we wait for the train!
