A First Class guitar for any gig! Sounds superb through a 1973 Twin Reverb, and about anything else you plug it into. This one is a demo and is for sale at a great price because it’s been played a bit. Never abused. Zero damage. Just an awesome guitar that will make you sound great and look cool at the same time. DM if interested in more details.

Planed some old stair treads from the early 1960’s in order to make a guitar amp cabinet. Looks like these are Douglas Fir. Gonna be cool!

I’ve been rehabbing this 1973 master volume Twin Reverb and got it all fixed up right. I went through every single part and solder joint and have it set for another couple decades. I understand why these big silverface amps sometimes have a bad reputation. The build quality is not nearly as high as many of the same Fender models of the 1960s, for example. But when they are well serviced and healthy, they can sound absolutely tremendous. This one sure does!

Makin’ shop tools! One well known company sells a hand-held fret press like this for several hundred dollars. We were doing a refretting job recently and thought these would come in handy. So we bought a fret caul and the insert we needed and then figured out how to mount them onto an old pair of wide mouth Vice-Grips. Voila! Bob’s your uncle!

New frets for a new year. Our friend Dave has a 1999 Taylor 414-CE, and he understands that you’re supposed to play the crap out of a guitar. After twenty-six years, the frets needed some serious attention. So we installed new frets from 1-10 and then levelled, crowned, dressed, and polished all of them. It looks great, plays great, and is ready for another quarter century of wear. This Taylor is now back in the glory days.
