Like many in our community, our hearts remain with everyone impacted by the incident at Nippon Dynawave Packaging. We know this has been a difficult week for many families, friends, coworkers, and first responders.

We have received questions about conditions at Mint Valley Golf Course and wanted to provide an update.

The golf course remains open and safe for play. Areas of the sloughs remain off limits, but the golf course itself is fully operational and available for golfers. In addition, the odor that was present in the area earlier this week has dissipated.

For those looking to spend some time outdoors, get some fresh air, and enjoy a round of golf, we welcome you to join us this weekend.

We appreciate everyone's support and patience during this challenging time for our community.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms, moments, and memories we often take for granted.
