Nominated to the Longview Historic Registry in 1990,The MERK building is located in the heart of Longview's historic commercial district. It was the first commercial building erected in Longview in 1923, and found life as the headquarters and company store of the pioneering Long-Bell Lumber

Company, one of the largest wood products conglomerates of the era. These days, the building is home to a wide variety of businesses. Retail stores occupy the first and second floors with office tenants located on the second and third floors. Shoppers can find a variety of goods and services at The MERK, along with gallery-quality artwork, and exhibits that detail the city of Longview's exciting history.

As we celebrate another year of serving this incredible community, our hearts are with the families affected by the devastating Nippon disaster.

During our anniversary celebration, we will be donating 20% of all sales to support local families and recovery efforts for those impacted.

This community has always shown up for one another in times of need, and we hope to do our small part to help bring relief, support, and hope during this difficult time.
