The last masks that have been requested have been completed and a helper bee will be delivering them in the next few days. Since the interest has dropped off, I am going to take down the request form. If you would like your first masks, more masks, a mask sent to a Hive mom friend, or for your kids, you can send me a message and as long as I have the fabric I can make them. Thank you so much for requesting masks, it has been a lot of fun and gave me a bit of a purpose that wasn't my kids for the first time in a while. Love you all.

I am finishing up a few last masks and then I wont be making/delivering them for about a month. You can still request more and I will make them, but I need to take a bit of a break to focus on other things.
You guys are awesome! I have made somewhere between 100 and 115 masks for you amazing moms and a few kids. Thank you for taking COVID seriously and wearing masks to help keep the spread down. I can't tell you how much it means to me.

Looking at the CDC guidelines for double masking, they want you to use a cloth mask with a disposable medical mask underneath and not more fabric layers. Until that changes, I will probably not be making the inserts.
That does give me more time to make regular masks. If your mask is too loose, you can try switching to around the head elastic, bunching the the sides on the elastic, or you can message me for a new size with some pictures on how your mask currently fits. You are also welcome to request more masks (please include how many you would like) and nominate a hive or BCM mom to get a mask. If you don't have their address, I can probably get my hands on it, just make sure to include their first and last name.

Good news! Our sick person is no longer sick. I am still going to ride out the 2 weeks, but at least he is better. So far no one else is showing any symptoms.

Someone is our house has started showing cold symptoms. Not sure how he managed to get sick since we go no where and we disinfect and quarantine everything, but he did. I will not be delivering masks for at least 2 weeks.

While not in use, the precut fabric is stored in a plastic container and the bee fabric is in a plastic bag. The elastic & ribbon are stored just on a shelf in the open. The nose bridge is aluminum and also stored in the plastic container, same with the tissue paper and plastic bags. My sewing space is in an communal area though.
