The grand opening of Duck Duck Common on a rainy Memorial Day weekend invited customers to browse a variety of new, vintage and locally sourced items. After renovating and completely gutting the space in the beginning of the year, sisters Leanne Silcato Prosser and Nicole Silicato Miller added Duck Duck Common to their family-owned shopping center Taormina Square. Both creative and artistic in their own ways, the sisters used their previous experience and applied it to retail. Leanne used to be an event planner, and Nicole has numerous relationships with local artists, in addition to selling art of her own.
