Hey yāall. šš¼Itās Jess. Itās been a minute. If youāre still following this account, thank you very, very much. Closing the store in 2022 wasnāt an easy decision but, it was the right one. Since then, Iāve been hustling with , traveling a bunch, baking a lot more, and getting back to the things that bring me the most joy. For those of you who donāt know, my grandparents had a garden center in Somerset, NJ for over forty years. Some of my favorite childhood memories are running around those four acres. My dad grew up there. My grandmother made a home there & created her award winning flower arrangements. My grandpa spent his days tending to the plants in the greenhouses. I miss that place every single day. Iāve always felt the most at ease in a greenhouse. Something about the hum of the fans, the feel of the mist coming off the sprinklers, the smell of dirt, and the view of neat rows of beautiful blooms - itās my favorite place to be. Iām not here to tell you Iām opening a garden center (maybe, someday) but I am here to say that Iām back, in a new kind of way that gets me closer to those roots I know and love. Iāve had the privilege to start working with flowers again. Over the last year, family & friends have trusted me to help create floral arrangements & plan some really special life events. I even made my first bouquet for the most beautiful bride. š„¹ Iāve cherished every opportunity I have been given & Iām basically here to say that I want to and will do more of that in the future. Over the next couple weeks Iāll be switching this account over to reflect what Iāve been doing recently: arranging flowers, growing my garden, baking new things, and helping to create celebrations. Iāll also be announcing my first event as Favorite State Flowers which will be just in time for Valentineās Day. If youāre looking for those refill products you knew and loved, follow - theyāll be dropping there soon. If you want your feed to be sprinkled with photos of beautiful blooms and baked goods, stick around. Either way, thank you all for supporting me in one way or another - you gave me a space to grow, and I plan to do just that.
