Friends,
Thank you for giving me an opportunity to make our lives just a little bit sweeter for the past 8 years since the pop-up days in the East Village, or our beautiful Pine Ave cafe in , our progressive workshop space at .lb in , and most recently our wonderful gift shop .
I am grateful for all the beautiful friendships and lasting connections we have made with all of our wonderful guests as grew. Romeo Chocolates has given me an opportunity to develop my craft, train others, meet incredible local and international chefs, and travel throughout the world to learn and share how we can create equitable supply chains to better support our cacao farmers.
A new chapter is unfolding in 2023 for me professionally, and it’s time to sunset for the time being. December is our final month, and although not quite a goodbye, this is definitely a closing of this iteration of Romeo Chocolates. I am certain we will meet again in a different capacity.
I want to give a special thank you to our team members, past and present, for the opportunity to build our company with you. You gave me a chance to live out my dreams and hopefully fueled yours. I want to celebrate the many of you who have advanced into careers for culinary & pastry arts at great establishments.
I’m thankful for our junior chocolatiers who took our workshops at ages 4-10 and are now young adults shaping their own personal interests and creative outlets.
PS. If you have a great picture of your experiences at our shop, please feel free to DM me and I would love to reshare it.
Long Beach Exchange gift shop is now closed. If you have a remaining pick-up order, please email us at [email protected] so we can finalize that with you.
From the bottom of my heart…
THANK YOU! ❤️
