Marigold flowers, known as cempasúchil in Nahuatl, are traditionally associated with Day of the Dead in Mexico. Their vibrant color and strong scent are believed to help guide the spirits of the deceased back to the world of the living, where their favorite foods and drinks are prepared to honor and celebrate their memory. It's a beautiful way to symbolize the connection between the living and the departed.
