My NEW BOOK is at the printer! It was a new challenge for me to take my two “Hallmark-type” Christmas scripts and turn them into novellas, but I’m very happy with the result. Official release date sometime in May. 💃💃💃

AND HERE IT IS…. I’ve come full circle, back to writing a column for the Chinook Observer every other week, STARTING TODAY! My beloved “Through My Looking Glass” has returned to page 4, the Op/Ed page, after a (short?) 24-year absence. This re-launch has my toes tingling (and it’s not just my neuropathy today!). I’m delighted to be able to share some of my longer (I have 750 words in the newspaper) viewpoints and adventures with an audience somewhat larger than my friends’ list here on FB, and I get PAID (not much, but enough) for writing as a COLUMNIST again! Yea! I’m baaa-ck, and definitely doing my happy dance! 💃💃💃

I had the pleasure of meeting Angela M Sanders, a cozy writer from Portland, at Lucy‘s books. Her most recent cozy has “nice” witches in it and takes place in Astoria. I am hoping to have her join us at the fourth annual PNW Author‘s Book fair in October.

YES!! JanBonoBooks will be at the artisan sale at the Peninsula Senior Activity Center on Friday and Saturday, November 21 & 22, 10-3. It’s a small affair, just 14 vendors, but all of us have very original creations to offer as the penultimate Christmas gift. Come see us, and we’ll help keep your gift dollars local! A win-win for everyone! (And PS, it’s my final show in Washington this year, so… I hope to see you there!)
