It breaks my heart to share that on Nov 4 Heaven gained an angel, my Dad ❤️
After fighting for so long, my Dad was tired. I am heartbroken beyond anything I could imagine, but I take comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain.
I’m so proud of my Dad for being such an incredible example of strength. He’s worked hard in every aspect of his life and has always been an entrepreneur and small business owner since he was 18. I started this page a few years ago, but only really started to focus on it after the pandemic forced me to reevaluate and rediscover what my passions are. My Dad loved that I was trying something new and putting myself out there. He’s never had social media, but would watch my styling videos on my Mom’s phone. I never thought he would really understand what I was doing, but he called me right after watching one of my stories to tell me how proud he was of me. It truly meant the world, especially coming from him. His work ethic has always been something that I have admired most.
Making so many new friends in this community has by far been my favorite thing to come out of having this page, way better than any outfit or pair of shoes could be and I also wanted to thank you all for the way that you have supported and prayed for my Dad. It means everything ❤️
I’ve also thought a lot about time throughout all of this and recently saw a quote that really stuck with me, “Time is everything we have and don’t”
If there is anything I’ve learned from this experience it’s that life can change at any moment and we cannot take anything for granted. If you have a dream, go for it. If something isn’t making you happy, why waste your time on it? Time is all we have and it is so valuable.
