This is so cool!!

Looks like an ancient temple, but it's completely natural! Welcome to Crowley Lake in California, USA. 🇺🇸

These mysterious, 20-meter-tall porous rock pillars remained hidden until the reservoir's water levels dropped. But how did they get there? Geologists believe these 5,000+ columns were forged 700,000 years ago during a massive volcanic eruption, when scorching hot ash violently mixed with freezing snowmelt.

It is an epic, ancient clash of fire and ice frozen in time! 🌋❄️
