Internet is finally up, so I can give you some blackout updates.
Queso Kings Grilled Cheese Bar will most likely remain closed until Wednesday or Thursday as the power is scheduled to shut off again tomorrow morning and remain off for up to 48 hours.
The Factory Store has been and will remain open 9-5 daily, but I'm not yet sure if we will be making cheese this week.
More updates will be posted as they come.

The guys made fresh Queso Fresco yesterday and are making FRESH CHEDDAR CHEESE CURDS today!
Come out to Loleta, have lunch in the garden and pick up some Queso and Curds for the weekend.

The best time to watch the process is between 9 AM and Noon and FRESH CHEESE CURDS will be available around 1 PM.

Did you know that the Loleta Cheese Garden Scavenger Hunt is up to 42 items?
Some items are super easy to find and some very difficult, but everyone enjoys looking for and finding as many as they can when they visit.
I went out to the garden yesterday morning when the power was out and took a 'hint' photo for each item but couldn't find/remember where two of them were hidden.
Post a new photo of the Red Decorative Glass and/or Blue Ceramic Rose when you find them and we'll come up with some kind of a prize.
Lastly, our Gardener must have added the 42nd item recently because this is the first time I've seen the One Horned Goat Head (name may be changed). I will confirm with him on Friday and add it to the official Loleta Cheese Garden Scavenger Hunt form.

We will be making WHITE CHEDDAR CHEESE CURDS this Friday, October 11th.
The Factory Store and Grilled Cheese Bar will be open 9 AM to 5 PM and the curds will be ready midday, maybe about 1 PM. There's lots of seating outside to enjoy our garden, the scavenger hunt now has about 40 items and our gardener will be on site on Friday as well.
The forecast for Friday is a sunny 67, so come on down to Loleta and have some fun!

Hello everyone!!! We know it's been a while since we were active on FB, but we are back and plan to post information about everything from when we are making fresh cheese curds in the factory to specials we are having at the grilled cheese bar. We want to let everyone know that online ordering has opened back up at artisancheesefactory.com and both the Loleta Cheese Factory Store and Queso Kings Grilled Cheese Bar are both open seven days a week from 9 AM to 5 PM.
