This product is great! Installation was relatively easy. Just know where your studs are and the pre drilled holes are for 16” studs. If you need something different the Stormshell website has a plate to purchase that will allow for you to adjust the placement of the TV. Also they have a fan for purchase for climates more hot and humid to protect TV. Yes the box include a lot of options for parts as not all homes are the same. That was nice, just take the time and look at your placement and needs and put away the ones you won’t use. Easy!
We had our first full day rainfall after install and while the outside cover still had beads of water, there was not a drop of water inside. I think we will bring the TV inside during the cold weather months, but looking forward to watching some football this fall! Definitely recommend as an alternative to an outdoor/waterproof TV. Just when shopping for TV, look for something that has glass with less glare. We stood 20ft away from all the TV’s on the floor at the store and ruled out which ones had glare from the overhead lights.
