It's been one full year since we picked this girl up, stopped at Wally's on the way home, and watched as a gust of wind (*slight breeze) from I-55 blew her over. From that moment on, we were all in agreement that she'd be named Windy.

She's made us all smile and laugh a little more this past year and we've never felt more safe as she takes her role as guard dog very seriously, especially between midnight and 5am. 🫩

(And selfishly she's been great for blanket sales, the best shop dog a small business owner would ever want)

I've been informed by the fam that this is known as her "Gotcha Day"... Happy Gotcha Day, Windy 🐾 Here's a look at her many hairstyles from this past year.

For five hours and twenty minutes, it was a perfect Sunday for a market. For the last 40 minutes, not so much. Thanks Lemont for coming out yesterday to shop small businesses, enjoy live music, and meet superheroes and princesses at Mabel's Market Market on Canal!

Another donation will be made to Family Shelter Service thanks to your support 🧡

Time to dry everything out -- thankfully our Turkish Towels are quick drying so they're already good to go. 😉

Grand Haven, thanks so much for your support this weekend during Merchants and Makers | West MI Coast Guard Festival! Nothing makes us happier than seeing the same faces a second time around and hearing how much you love your blankets or Turkish Towels from last year.

While the rain kept things a little more calm than last year on day 2 (can't blame you) it did give us a chance to catch more of the parade. Wienermobile sighting!

Despite the weather, because of your generosity we are donating over 110 blankets to our friends at Resilience - Ottawa/Allegan! 💜 This amazing organization helps individuals and families dealing with domestic abuse rebuild and restore their lives through providing shelter, support, and resources. And in an especially difficult week for the area it was even more critical for us to get their name out to the local community.

Finally, a huge shout out to Shyle & her team for putting on another great show for your vendors and thousands of shoppers. Thank you for having us!

Enjoying a gloomy morning staring at these cozy solar lights that add nothing to the space unless it's completely dark out, but I bought them two years ago and I'm determined to get my money's worth. 💡

Day 1 at Coast Guard Festival with Merchants and Makers | West MI was incredible, can't wait to see what blanket weather on August 1st brings on day 2!

Wrap up summer with us at one of these four events! 🌞

After our road trip weekend at Merchants and Makers | West MI Coast Guard Festival, we're excited to join Mabel's Market in Downtown Lemont for the first Summer Market on Canal! Food, live music, vendors and more Sunday 8/9 from 9-3!

We'll be back at The Rustic Fox North Aurora for one more Fox & Found market this season on 8/18 with our summer clearance sale! Music, 100+ vendors, and free to attend!

Finally, we're heading to Mt. Prospect to join LUMI Studio + Shoppe as they take over the parking lot for their outdoor summer market on Sunday evening!

Not sure how it's already been a year since our first Coast Guard Festival in Grand Haven with Merchants and Makers | West MI but we're excited to load up the blanketmobile, get on the road again and join 140 small businesses for a fun weekend in Michigan!

We'll have new towels & throws, be slightly better prepared, and of course help support the work of our incredible donation partners at Resilience - Ottawa/Allegan 💜
