Good Evening, Longhorn Family,

This is a reminder that there will be a Boys and Girls Athletics Meeting tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM in the New Gym.

Student-athletes will have the opportunity to meet me and learn about the expectations, standards, and vision for Lockney Athletics as we begin building a championship culture together.

Additionally, I would like to invite all parents and members of the Lockney community to attend a Parent & Community Meeting tomorrow evening at 6:00 PM in the New Gym. This will be an opportunity for me to introduce myself, share the direction of our athletic program, and answer any questions you may have.

I look forward to meeting everyone and beginning this journey together.

Coach Lewis brings over 20 years of coaching and leadership experience in Texas, Virginia, and the US Army. He has a passion for developing student-athletes on and off the field. His commitment to discipline, accountability, relationships, and excellence will have a tremendous impact on our athletic programs and school community.

We are excited for the future of our athletics department under Coach Lewis’ leadership and look forward to the positive culture and success he will help build.

We will be hosting a Lockney Basketball camp at the high school! Open to incoming 1st grade -9th grade boys and girls! May 28th and the 29th!

!!!!!UPDATE!!!!!!
Hale Center only has a 8th grade boys team and a 8th grade girls team, therefore the 7th grade teams from Lockney WILL NOT BE PLAYING THURSDAY. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Lockney ISD 7th & 8th Grade Basketball games will be rescheduled and played Thursday January 29th in Hale Center. 7th grade starts at 5:00 pm and 8th grade follows. Hope to see you there!
