At KR Audio a couple weeks ago. More pics and verbiage: I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kron. Also had very vigorous visit with my first tube engineer, Marek. What a pleasure meeting and visiting. BTW, Marek's broken English did not diminish our passion/enthusiasm for all things tube. Their lab and environs would have occupied me for days!

I love industrial art. In my amps, I often incorporate hardware that is attractive, extremely useful and classic. For instance, this is a blackout light. Probably built for the military during WWII. It is New-Old-Stock. In the first pic it is opened to it's extreme/maximum light. They were for monitoring gauges during black out conditions. Pull on the outer shell (Pic 1) and the lamp is exposed through a small window allowing light. Pull it out halfway (Pic 2) for lower light. Or completely closed for blackout. Pic 3 is how it looks front on. Extreme build quality! Extremely functional.
