The Viking sword is officially done! This was an amazing challenge, and I'm going to be sad to see her go! The blade is 36" and 43" overall, and is only 2lb13oz assembled

We are STOCKED with some great new work and tons of your favorite staples in knives and ceramics. This market is HUGE and full of amazing makers, crafters, food, booze and live music and it’s right on the beach! 🥲 we are so excited to get some sun and sand while we work!

Come escape the central Texas heat wave by the water and get yourself some HCo goodies!

Wooh! The weekend is finally here! Join us in Lockhart this Saturday for the Texas Monthly BBQ Fest! Hammerson Co will be set up on the square hawking our wares and doing live fire forging demonstrations throughout the day!
Saturday is FREE to the public.
What can you expect? :: Stellar food! Award winning BBQ and a taco trail. Booze put out by our good friends from Best Little Wine & Books and Old Pal TX. Live music on the main stage. A whole market full of the BEST artisans, vintage slingers and makers in town. Live fire Lane (where we will be!) featuring bbq demos, forging, fire pits (with s’mores) and yours truly.
There is truly everything happening on the square at once. And we couldn’t be more appreciative to the small businesses who are hosting us on the square! Please while you’re here, stop into the brick and mortars who keep Lockhart amazing!

Justin Hammond passed right by the dessert menu and went straight for the main entree when he left the restaurant business to begin a career of making knives.

Stoked to FINALLY be able to say that our fearless bladesmith in charge Justin Hammerson is a Forged in Fire CHAMPION!
