On behalf of your amazing support over the last year, we felt compelled, in your honor, to donate 2 sewing machine to Zaman International which is a program to help women and children learn skills to help them get out of poverty. You can learn more about the giving machines and their purpose along with the charities they support at the links below. Thank you to our amazing customers!!

Michigan's "Giving Machines," part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' "Light the World" initiative, are reverse vending machines where you use a credit/debit card to buy charitable items (like meals, clothes, goats, or shelter) for local and global charities, with 100% of donations going to the cause, and digital receipts provided. These machines appear seasonally, often in high-traffic areas like Detroit's Campus Martius Park during the holidays, supporting groups like Focus: HOPE, Zaman International, and the Pope Francis Center.

October Fat Quarter Bingo will be a fundraiser for a charity that we love! $15 of every sign-up will go to Preemie Pals. Come and join us on Friday, October 17th, from 7-9. We have a blast, and it is a great place to meet new people. Friendships have been made by coming and having fun. The more the merrier. Help us help them.

*Preemie Pals is an organization that makes quilts to go over the isolettes in the NICU. These give the parents something fun to look at while their babies are in the hospital. It is also something they get to take home with them. It is something cheerful to help in a very stressful situation.

We are starting something new!! I love Advent calendars, whether they are candy, toys, service projects, or letters. We wanted to share with you our love for them. Your purchase will contain 25 individually wrapped gifts. One to open starting December 1st and then each day until Christmas. They will be filled with all things quilting/sewing.
