I am one of the sponsors and organizers of our local pagan market. A couple weeks ago, our founders shop was broken into and our market merchandise, as well as some very large collectible crystals, were stolen. A report has been filed, but it keeps getting brushed off as a crime perpetrated by the homeless. We do NOT believe this to be the case. Why? Because all of the tents, canopies, tables, and most importantly a ton of DeWalt power tools and batteries were left behind. They only took anything relating to the pagan market.
There is a $500 reward for anyone that can provide photographic evidence of where the stolen goods are or any proof that can lead to the arrest of the guilty party/parties involved in the theft.
Update on the shop break in. A few weeks back I mentioned the shop getting broke into and event related stuff stolen. At the time we didn't know if it was the homeless population that hangs out in the area or if it was a targeted move.
Since then we did a bunch of upgrades. Even taking windows out and just replacing it with a solid wall. I did leave this cross though, I was kinda curious about who put it there or why.
Anyways I have watched my cameras since the day of the break in and not so much as straggler has been around that building. Its been pretty quiet. I even left something outside for 2 weeks now with a camera on it just to see who gets it, it was still there yesterday before I finally just put it back inside.
I'm pretty confident now this wasn't done by the homeless in the area. And I still have $500 cash if anyone happens to have any info on who did it. All I need is a pic of the stolen stuff to prove it.
