Fun Friday recipe!!!! Sometimes I do bake for fun with no intention of using the recipe for my business. This week I decided I needed cornbread so I bought the Trader Joe’s cornbread mix. I wanted to compare it to jiffy and I was just craving cornbread. I actually really enjoyed the cornbread mix from Trader Joe’s, it’s sweeter and more cake like than jiffy. It also had whole corn kernels which adds fun texture to the cornbread. Overall I kinda like the Trader Joe’s one more than jiffy, is that controversial??!! Maybe I just like sweet things and the fact that I was just craving cornbread so I would’ve eaten it no matter what lol. Would you guys buy a cornbread from me? I’ve done cornbread muffins in the past!

This week’s retesting series is my espresso chocolate! Very similar from last week’s. This one also didn’t have a major upgrades, just had to figure out exactly how much espresso to use to balance it with the chocolate. I love adding espresso with chocolate because it makes the chocolate flavor richer and more complex!! Which one would you pick, last weeks Ginger chocolate or espresso chocolate?

Another cookie in my Retesting series. This one is a ginger chocolate cookie! I love this cookie base sooo much!! I love seeing the mix of vanilla & chocolate to make the most beautiful cookie! This cookie was definetly one that needed more of the ginger kick to pair well with the chocolate. I love adding a spice kick with chocolate because chocolate is such a strong flavor. So the only major tweaking with this one was just more ginger! Comment below if you wanna try this one!
