We haven’t posted in a while but Dyer and I wanted to stop by and say hello to all our lovely friends! We’ve got some exciting news as the Jeep gets the cage out finally, and our Jeepspeed legal cage gets installed! We need to get the Rmax up on a lift and check out some minor leakage, and we’re hoping to get the motorcycles out this weekend and catch some fresh air if this dang weekend rain will let up! Barnes has released an 8 inch stretch kit for the JK that pushes the axle quite a bit, and we’re planning to get that installed come summer when we have some weekends off.

Anyways, as always, thank you so much for the support! We love each and every one of you!

As U4 enters a time of uncertainty, Dyer and I both want to express our most sincere thanks for all the support you all have given us thus far, and we want to assure you we will be exploring other series in which to participate. Good afternoon, everyone! We hope you are having a fantastic week and we wish everyone a safe and enjoyable holiday!

A few updates on what we’ve been doing behind the scenes:

Logo and branding are being worked on
Creating driver and crew profiles
Trying to find money/sponsorship ideas so we can race and not be big poor

With that being said, Lou and I wish you all well this holiday season and look forward to getting this ball rolling faster as 2024 comes into view!

Our starting point for this endeavor is a 2021 Yamaha Rmax2 XT-R. This SxS has a 1000cc 2-Cylinder engine and a factory top speed of 72-75MPH. With selectable 2WD, 4WD, or 4WD and diff locked, there shouldn’t be any issues getting through the terrain a race will throw at us. With multiple drive modes standard, reliability, and a some good tires, we anticipate finishing the events we start.

I guess now is better than never to make an introduction!

Rock-Fin Racing has been a dream of ours for quite some time and we are extremely excited to make the dream become reality! Following in the footsteps of Weller Racing and their 2023 win at King of the Hammers in the 4900 Stock class, we will be racing a 2021 Rmax2 XT-R at KoH!

The team at RFR are looking forward to the journey, the struggles, and the (hopefully) celebrations that this program will bring us! We invite everyone to follow our journey, cheer us on, and experience the ups and downs that come with racing!

As the journey continues, we will be releasing content, livestreams, Q&As, and more!

With that all being said, I (Dyer) hope you join us on this journey in Ultra4 and on to KoH!
