When you’re given the opportunity to talk about antique and vintage items to future generations, you jump on the chance to do so!!

We had a great time yesterday talking with a group of kids , during their first week of summer camp.
For their theme of the day, Time Travel, the kids had a fun time trying to guess the items that we brought along. Some items were easier to guess than others, but we hope that they enjoyed learning about items of the past and can appreciate modern conveniences a little bit more… especially the chamber pot!! 😳 Which I bet made for an interesting dinner time conversation! After learning about silhouettes, the kids were able to create their own silhouette art to take home.

Thank you to the Demuth Museum for giving us the opportunity to teach the next generation about items from our past!
