Friends, we have made the extremely difficult choice to close our 57 E Main Street Lititz location, for good, by the end of October.
This shop, which began as just a seedling of an idea, has been nothing short of an incredible, amazing, wild and wonderful ride. One that I am forever grateful for. By supporting this shop, you, my loyal customers and friends, have allowed me to stretch my creative wings, adorn your homes and persons with beautiful, ethical, purposeful things, hear and tell more amazing stories than I could ever count, support other like-minded makers and creatives near and far, and - well, the list could go on and on.
Please, PLEASE, continue to support your favorite small stores (including this one, virtually), makers and curators. In many ways, this world we live in is quickly trying to s***f out the “little guy”, the “mom and pop” shops, the micro-businesses that make our community the tight knit, living and breathing, special place that it is today. We all know and completely understand that everyone loves a deal or a sale. But I promise you, the ultimate price you will pay for abandoning small businesses in lieu of a quick discount or free shipping is VERY expensive in the long run and will inevitably cost you those things that money cannot buy back.
In the coming days and weeks we will be holding some special events and sales, reshuffling the store as needed and tidying up our website to ensure all inventory is available online. Please note, if you have an unused gift card, now is the time to spend it - either in person or online. Also, now is the time to start shopping for the holidays if you haven’t already. Our final in-store shopping day will be Saturday, October 29th (subject to change, based on inventory, of course).
And finally, please rest assured that the legacy of Legacy Collective will live on beyond this brick and mortar store. It has been and always will be much more than four walls can contain. Stay tuned here for what this adventure holds next. XO, .tamulis
