🌿🌾Wreath making day! 🌾🌿
🌻We’ve been having fun making wreaths for our upcoming show in Knoxville, TN!

📍 Knoxville Expo Center
🌾 We take a mix of dried flowers, artificial berries, and floral sprays to create one of a kind wreaths! We make the wreaths start to finish, assembly line style. We typically start an audiobook and get the wreath factory cranking! 😅
🌿 The one style of greenery we used today was the pennycress you saw us harvest a few weeks ago! Scroll back a video if you missed it.

🌿Harvest day! 🌿
☀️ It was a beautiful day to pick one of plants that we dry and use to make wreaths! We call it pennycress, and it is a w**d that grows in late spring. Once the flowers have bloomed we can pick it and hang it in our barn to dry. We will later paint it and use as accent pieces in our wreaths! 🌻
🌿 Pennycress is one of our staple products and we have been foraging it for years! It dries beautifully, stays firm, and holds the paint well. We were able to harvest two loads this season! You’ll be seeing this lots in our wreaths later on in the year! 🎉
🐕Bessy loves days we go out harvesting - she ran all over the field chasing bunnies and investigating dens. ❤️

🚛 Time to load-up! 🚛
👀This is a behind the scenes look at what it takes to get Nature’s Lot loaded up and onto the road! 💪🏼Our booth usually takes 2 days and to unload & set up, and about 3-4 hrs to breakdown & load out. Thousands of steps later - we’re on the road! 🛣️

☀️ Another fun wreath making day! ☀️
🌸We have been so busy lately with making inserts, it was good to have some time to make wreaths again! 🌿🍓As always, we make all of our wreaths start to finish! This wreath combination is a mix of dried corn tassel & pennycress, which we harvest local and dry ourselves. 🌾We mixed in dried lemon leaf and lavender, and then finish with artificial apple blossoms and raspberries. 🌿

🌸 Did you know that Chad grew up making wreaths? His parents ran a flower farm and like most family run businesses - the kids work too! 😆 To this day, Chad is still making dried flower wreaths - just like his parents taught him. 💛
