a piece of wood from a broken family heirloom or house. I can take those objects and make a quality pen from them. In addition, most any combination of colors is possible with resin for the artistic person. I also stabilize and cast spalted, burled, or punky woods with alumilite resin and pearl-ex powders for an amazing combination of wood and resin. I take pride in my products and do the best job possible on each pen. I will not give you a pen that does not meet my high standards. For custom orders which are not made from typical materials, I can send you pictures along the way to ensure that you are happy with the progress. I will also send you pictures of the finished product before you pay to make sure it meets your needs. I can do roller ball, fountain or ball point pens in most any finish. I use antler, wood, stone, resin and many objects or images encased in clear resin. I spend anywhere from 1 to 4 hours on each pen. I painstakingly turn them to exact specifications on a wood lathe then sand and polish them to the highest shine possible with 9 grits of sandpaper and buffing wheels. Custom engraving is also possible. I work with a local engraver to have the pens engraved. Average cost for engraving is $20 per pen. I charge my actual cost for the items or materials. I do not make money on the materials of the pen or case. I make a small amount of money on the labor and time I put into the pen. I typically charge $20 for a single body pen made from simple materials to $50 for a double body pen from difficult materials and/or finishes. Once the pen is complete, I will ship it within one business day to you. I am obsessive when it comes to shipping and tracking packages. As soon as the pen ships I will provide tracking numbers to you. I prefer USPS priority mail, but I can use whatever shipping method you prefer. Contact me and you will not be disappointed.
