Electrical Apprentice
Job summary
We are seeking highly ethical, team-oriented individuals who have a passion for excellence.
Qualified individuals will provide support to electrician during installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, conduit, equipment, gear fixtures, devices, and other items associated with electrical circuitry.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Cut, bend, thread assemble and install conduit and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings in designated partitions, walls, or
other concealed areas.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, fixtures, and other related apparatus using hand tools and power
tools.
• Position, install and maintain distribution and control equipment such as circuit breaker panel boards, fuse enclosures, switch boxes, pull boxes,
and related devices.
• Splice, join, and connect wires to other wires, circuit breakers, transformers, fixtures, devices, and other components to form circuits.
• Work from ladders, lifts and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Pull insulated wire or cables through conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving and lifting heavy objects.
• Adhere to all company polices outlined in the company’s employee and safety manuals
• Keep work area clean throughout the day and ensure all tools are put away at end of shift
• Perform other duties as requested/needed
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power hand tools, and electrical testing
devices.
• Ability to distinguish colors in order to work with color-coded wiring
Special requirements:
• Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by management or dictated by business requirements.
Requirements:
• 40 hours per week
• Applicants must have 1-year experience in commercial or industrial enviroment
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old
• Provide resume when applying
• Reliable transportation
No experience necessary. But cannot be afraid of small spaces or heights. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, drive and have no points on driver's license. You will have to speak and read English and will have to be able to work legally in the United States.
