Today, I pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. Coming from a military family, Memorial Day has always carried a deeper meaning for me. It’s more than a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer — it’s a day rooted in sacrifice, remembrance, and gratitude. ❤️

I grew up understanding that behind every uniform is a family that serves too. Families who wait, who worry, who move across states and countries, who miss birthdays and holidays, and who carry both pride and heartbreak quietly. Today, my heart is especially with the Gold Star families and loved ones carrying the weight of unimaginable loss.

May we never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedoms many of us experience every day. Their courage deserves more than one day of remembrance — it deserves our respect always.

Please take a moment today to remember, reflect, and honor them. 🇺🇸
