Beautiful Basil’s ears are almost as long as her legs (which are short)—and just as hard to ignore. 🥰

Basil has spent far too much of her life in North Carolina raising puppies (including her daughter Jojo, who’s also with us!), and now it’s *her* turn to be the one cared for. She’s a gentle, sweet girl who’s a little shy at first, but once she knows you’re kind, all she wants is love and reassurance.

Basil does great with other dogs and cats, has the softest eyes, and is ready to trade motherhood for couch time and a family of her very own. She’s done her job—now all she wants is to have a loving home. 💛

🚨 URGENT – PLEASE READ 🚨
Please do NOT feed Max.

Max is still missing and continues to be seen in the Crestview area on the Snell Road. He has now been gone for four months, and this situation is becoming more dangerous every day.

🚫 PLEASE STOP PUTTING FOOD OUT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD 🚫
We have cameras set up around the live trap, and we see Max frequently. The problem is that when people continue to feed him elsewhere, he has no reason to go into the trap. As long as food keeps being put out, Max will never enter it.

Feeding him is also extremely dangerous: • It keeps him near traffic
• It increases the risk of him being hit by a car
• It delays his safe capture and return home

🙏 If you truly want to help Max:
✔️ Please do not feed him
✔️ Do not chase or call him
✔️ Share this post so everyone gets the same message

We are so close to getting Max safe — but we need everyone’s cooperation. Please help us bring him home. 💔🐾
