Our purpose is to showcase the local shops, merchants, restaurants, public facilities and sights of this historic town situated in the heart of Kansas. Founded by Swedish settlers in 1869, today’s Lindsborg still retains much of the quaint appeal of the past, but exudes a healthy spirit of growth and prosperity. The recently opened Sundstrom Conference Center is a testament to the city’s vitality

while retaining the look of the original building constructed in 1879. Lindsborg’s downtown offers a variety of new and old businesses, ranging from Swedish craft stores to a recently opened Fair Trade store, antique shops, local artist's work and several unique boutiques. The recently reopened Swedish Crown Restaurant offers a broad menu including many traditional Swedish dishes, and downtown offers a variety of other eating choices as well.
