Our family is providing these “Helping Hands” Project Bags for the Homeless this Holiday in honor and memory of our father, grandfather and husband David Walker who passed away 8 years ago this Christmas. Izzy and I have identified 30-40 Homeless individuals that we have come to see during our daily travels around OKC, MWC and surrounding areas.

As many of you know as great granddaughters Mya and Izzy were growing up Papa David was their main invited guest at the weekly tea party...Papa David would raise his tiny tea cup, pinkie up and toast “Sunshine Days”. This has become our phrase for many occasions so it seemed appropriate that our “Helping Hands” Bags bear his memorable toast.

We would love for you to help us fill these bags with the items shown below if your heart is moved to do so. We will deliver the bags between Christmas and New Years.
