A LITTLE REMINDER FROM BOUND ❤️📚

Literature is for everyone. Period.

At Bound, we want to create a space where there is something for everyone, regardless of race, sexuality, religion, background, beliefs, or whatever makes you you. That means our shelves will have different stories, different perspectives, different authors, and different events — because our community is made up of different people.

You do not have to love every book we carry. You do not have to attend every event we host. You don’t even have to agree with everything we choose to offer.

And that’s okay.

What is not okay is calling the store and cussing me because you are unhappy about an event — especially over a FREE kids event. 😔 I try to be really nice and respectful but I won't tolerate that behavior.

If an event isn’t something you’re interested in or comfortable attending, please just don’t come. You are absolutely welcome to make that choice without being disrespectful to me, my staff or our community.

We are building Bound to be a place for books, community, connection, and giving back. We will continue offering events for children, families, authors, readers, and our community because we believe there should be a place where everyone can feel welcome.

You don’t have to agree with everything we do.

But you do have to be respectful. ❤️

Get the kiddos ready for a fun night of Halloween creativity at Bound! 🧡

We’re hosting a FREE Halloween painting event just for the kids! 🎃👻 They’ll get to paint, create, and enjoy a little spooky-season fun with us!

✨ SIGN-UP IS REQUIRED so we can make sure we have enough supplies for everyone. Spots will be limited!

We truly cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone who has supported Bound, shared our posts, stopped in to shop, grabbed a coffee, attended an event, brought a friend, or simply cheered us on. 📚☕️

A HUGE thank you to all of our local authors, vendors, food trucks, makers, and small businesses who have partnered with us and helped make Bound what we dreamed it could be — a place where our community can come together, discover new stories, support local, and make memories. 🥹❤️

This is only the beginning, and we are SO excited for everything still to come! We appreciate every single person who has been part of this journey. Bound wouldn’t be Bound without YOU! 🫶📖
