Its massive Doric columns and Classic Revival architecture were designed by architect James A. Salter of Raleigh.

A fresh new look for one of Lincolnton’s most iconic landmarks. ✨

The exterior improvements at the Lincoln County Courthouse are largely complete, and we’re excited to see this historic centerpiece continue to shine in the heart of downtown. While a few finishing touches remain, the transformation is already making a big impact.

If you’re stopping by to enjoy the new seating areas or snap a photo, please help us protect the newly established landscaping by staying off the grass for the time being.

We can’t wait for everyone to enjoy this refreshed downtown space for years to come. 💙
