We want to send a genuine heartfelt thank you to the Renaissance Festival of Nebraska for welcoming Chapterlust Books as vendors this year.
Going into this event, we truly had no idea what to expect as vendors for something this size. This was our first large-scale festival experience, and honestly, we were nervous walking in. But from the moment we arrived, the seasoned vendors around us MidWitch Creations welcomed us with open arms, kindness, encouragement, and advice that helped us survive the chaos and enjoy every second of it.
Over the course of the festival, we met so many incredible people new customers, returning customers, fellow vendors, and so many wonderful humans who stopped to chat, laugh, recommend books, or just share in the experience with us.
Day one, Jennie and I genuinely thought exhaustion might take us out.
Day two, we were battle worn but somehow ready for more.
Day three, we finally had a chance to explore and shop a little ourselves.
Day four, we were honestly just giddy with excitement and soaking in every last moment.
Through all of it, we laughed constantly and felt incredibly grateful to be there.
Thank you again to the Renaissance Festival of Nebraska, the amazing vendor community, and everyone who supported our small but mighty bookstore full of books, dragons, candles, lotions, perfumes, beard balms, and chaos. This experience meant more to us than we can properly put into words. We hope to participate again next year!!
And a special thank you to Joe with Beard & Braid & Sookie for apparently locating every BEARD at the festival and enthusiastically passing out beard balm samples all weekend long.
