Renee’s workshops are so much fun - watching the creativity that women in our area have, the talent… I’m blown away. Renee is great at bringing out the best in people. If you’d like a night out, join us! And let’s support and visit Renee at her shop tomorrow 💕
Good morning and happy Friday! Back Road Treasures is open today and tomorrow from 9-4. For those of you who may not know me, I thought an introduction may be in order. I’m Renee Gilman, the owner and crazy craft lady behind Back Road Treasures. I am a recycled paper artist, meaning I take basically anything paper that I can get my hands on and turn it into one of a kind items. This picture showcases some of my current junk journals-many of which are made with either recycled Cheez-it boxes or old books that were headed to the landfill. I reuse book pages, old calendars, notebooks, planners and repurpose them into unique books that can be used as journals, scrapbooks or however you choose! Each journal comes with a poem I wrote explaining some of the many journal options.
Additionally, I also teach classes at Handcrafted Lincoln on a variety of paper techniques. Classes will be held on the third Wednesday of the month for the rest of the year so stay tuned for more info!
We’re at 56 Lincoln Road in Enfield. Red farmhouse with entrance on the porch. If you like small vintage decor pieces, or you’re a crafter, we’d love to chat with you, so come check us out!
