Angie decided it was time to stop waiting and start creating, something she has done all her life... "When it fit into her busy schedule". Growing up she spent her summers learning to sew with her maternal grandmother and recently learned to knit in honor of her paternal grandmother's legacy. She obtained her college degree in Home Economics Education and taught for several years. After the classr

oom, others sought her out to help with their projects, once a teacher always a teacher. Knit-Paper-Scissors is a dream realized, helping others explore and develop their creative side in the community classroom setting. The studio is a place to take classes, learn basic and advanced skills and connect with other likeminded creative souls. Knit-Paper-Scissors carries fabulous specially yarns and knitting supplies for you to purchase. Join our group classes or one-to-one personal instruction, schedule a special events with your friends or connect at Sit-Knit-Crochet 3-5 pm each Thursday. Saturday- Let’s make history together!

Join us for World Wide Knit in Public Day and help us set a new KPS record for the most knitters and crocheters stitching together at one time!

Here’s the itinerary:

☕ 8:30 AM – Meet at The Chocolate Season
🧶 10:00 AM–4:00 PM – Outdoor stitching at KPS
🥪 11:30 AM – Complimentary lunch courtesy of KPS
🎉 1:00 PM – Record-setting group stitch attempt
🍦 4:30 PM – Celebrate at 402 Creamery

Bring your project, invite a friend, and help us show Lincoln what our stitching community is all about. Whether you knit or crochet, we’d love to have you join us for all—or part—of the day.

Last year, 52 makers stitched together. Let’s see if we can top it this year!

Take a break from the noise and return to the rhythm of your stitches.

Join us Wednesday at 5:30 PM for Calm Stitching, a guided making experience with our Wellness Coach, Susan. Please register in advance.

This is a chance to slow down, settle in, and use your stitching as a tool for focus, calm, and presence. Bring a project you’re comfortable working on and allow yourself an hour of gentle guidance, quiet reflection, and mindful making.

No pressure. No performance. Just stitch by stitch, returning to yourself.
