Tomorrow: Wednesday the 3rd, we’re bringing author Tom Eid to the Lincoln Public Library for a presentation about the importance of town forests and bogs - all great places to get out for some beauty in nature without all the crowds and elevation.

6pm, free, snacks provided, and should be a great discussion about some of NH’s amazing resources and how we can enjoy and protect them. Hope to see you there!

We’re very excited to be carrying three books from friends of ours in Massachusetts. They’re historians and do immense and thorough research, poring over microfiche newspapers and studying ancient maps and deeds and such.

This particular title, Murder at the Breakheart Hill Farm, is the true story of a farmhand staying on with a family at their farm in what is now the Breakheart Reservation in present-day Saugus, MA, operated by the DCR.

What follows is a gripping whodunnit, set in the year 1900 that had the Boston newspapers and public in a tizzy.

Available in store, and for purchase online and all copies are signed by the authors.
